One Foggy day

(FYI far in the background is a cliff where if you run without caution, you'll fall on the ocean)

I found some pictures from my old cell where I took it on a foggy day in Miraflores, Lima, about a year or so. I guess i was jogging around the pedestrian walk while waiting for my brother playing skate. I like the sense when the day gets foggy, it's like you know the weather will get cold and you cant see a lot of things ahead of you. I always thought that would feel like if I was up in the clouds except for the warmer temperature xD. There wasn't a lot of people there, they'd rather cuddle up in their beds hugging their bunch of soft and warm blankets. and i prefer jogging around the cold weather, yeah right. I wished there were a coffee machine on the street to warm up because it wasn't enough to warm up my body by just jogging.
When it's warmer in the spring, i like to sit on the grass and look at the sun sets, but it wasn't my luck when i sat down and a security with a dog came by to say that i shouldn't sit there because it's dangerous and he was scared i might commit suicide LOL.
It's all i have to say about this place. Oh, one more thing, I dont like to sit on the grass quietly while suddenly a large dog came running to me.. really, dogs scare the effin out of me.

Real Love

Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing
Through my opened ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying Love which shines around me like a
million suns, and calls me on and on
Across the universe

Corners of the street that I miss

I found some images on a forum that made me miss those places near where I've lived in Lima. There are a lot of memories found on those streets that I could never forget. I just wish I could go back there sometimes. sigh.

This is where I usually walk from my language institution to my house, every morning after class I buy this large pretzels with a coffee and milk before going home. I just say that in that institution they made the best pretzel I've ever ate. LOL.
If you go right from the street, it's a shortcut to get to the Parque Olivar, where pigeons attacks you with them panic-ing that they've got company -_-. I took my bro there to practice with his skate, and I can believe I used to jog a lot in that park.
Just one block from my apartment, I remember this street is always been a place to say "goodbye, see you soon". yeah I miss this place.
Right here ;)
I just loved walking in this street. It's just peace and calm.

Do I look wierd in glasses?

This weekend I found a new spot in Bandung where they sell different types of eyeglasses with very cheap prices. Normally it's for people who needs to use custom eyeglasses, got their minus/plus lenses with low prices. I found out a lot of vintage glasses, weird glasses, real labeled mark (like guess, LV, RB), even I found a John lennon look a like glasses, it was very old and classic (i wonder if it's John's). The whole street are like people selling glasses the whole way you are walking. If you dont see people selling, there would be an optic, so, glasses everywhere.

I was looking if I can get something from the heat and all those thousand glasses, and I found a wayfarer leopard glasses with only 2 dollars. I fell in love with the glasses so i bought it, but then I thought.. do i look weird with glasses? Naah, I love the glasses and I'll keep it, whether I look weird or not.. =)

Across the Universe (movie)

Is there anybody going to listen to my story All about the girl who came to stay? She's the kind of girl you want so much It makes you sorry; Still, you don't regret a single day. Ah girl! Girl! Girl...

That's the intro song of the movie I'm gonna talk about. Across the Universe is a drama musical using The Beatles' songs.
It's so visually alluring with psychedelic transition and kinda funny choreography.. It talks about lovers in the 60's during the age of developing counterculture, revolution, left-side politics, drugs, sex and rock and roll. And what really makes me like this movie is that there is magic in all the characters, especially the main characters, Jude and Lucy.
Their voices singing The Beatles' songs and the visualization in every song they sing really makes me fall in love with this movie.

My favorite part of this movie is when Jude pins up the strawberries.. wow, i could have eaten all those fresh, pulpy, red strawberries.. he souldn't pin those on the wall.. but anyhow that is a piece of art that i've never seen, and after he pinned up all the strawberries, he destroys it with some other strawberries by throwing them as a red pulpy bomb. This is the best part of the movie and what it's all about, strawberries hmm (why do i only think the food part?)

Another part that i like is the dreamy part, where the characters sing "Because" lying on the grass and then fade out to a scene where Jude and Lucy twisted slowly underwater with clouds dissolving in the water as they embrace, while the other characters dances in the background by turn. I think this movie deserves an award for their visualization, they just got the picture in the right song and moment. I love this movie. You should watch it and if you have, you should love it. =D

Freakiest book ever read!!

This is the most freakiest book I've ever read since I remember. I bought it for a dollar on an old bookstore on the street. I was just wondering what book to buy, either a buy a comic or a magazine to cut off the pictures. But then I saw this book, it was like hypnotizing me to buy it, and the skull on the cover really looks weird. I looked at the title that says "100 great fantasy short short stories" which I thought some magical stuffs and something more fairytale. When I started reading it, I realized that what they meant fantasy, is not just only fairy tales, but also ghosts, aliens, murders, sci-fi, djins, elephants that talks, Sherlock Holmes, hamlet ghost talk, vampire leprechaun and etc. The stories are very short, average of 2 pages, but the stories are frightening, and scary after you read it. It's not scary like when u read goosebumps when you're a teenager but how the stories ends freaks me out!! It takes me off the time limit to another space and time with a lot of supernatural things which gives me shivers.

I'm thinking what happen if the book has power over me which then tells me to kill people by reading the stories and then my soul got trapped inside the book which I have to make deals with the devil. Really scare the shit out of me, but somehow I feel like reading it moooore!! muahahahah..
